We were all living together in harmony. Until one day when the women of this great Society see the need to carve out the Gofta foundation; which will cater fully for the humanitarian matters arising. It afterward stands as the NGO department of this great Society.
It becomes women affairs because the women are mothers and they easily access the heart of the people to know what their immediate needs are. To carry out their activity diligently without hindrance, the executives of the Goftagroup after meeting and carefully looking into the matter; unanimously agree that this group should be given certificate of recognition to authenticate their operation as an autonomous body.
The certificate was duly approved by the general body of the Society, through the general secretary. And the certificate was signed into operation on the 21st of May 2007. With registration No: 08024-03

Gofta representing the human eucalyptus becomes a shed where many people run to for succor. This becomes a proven fact as Gofta is proud to say here that within the short time of existence, this group has been able to assist about forty seven traders to the tune of N2.7m within the past one year. This was practically displayed to evince the raison d'être the Society was created. Apart from given out micro loan to small scale traders, Gofta world group has also do their best in the area of humanitarian services by assisting malaria victims with free malaria remedy, and mosquito nets. All these gesture by the Society and its partners are to make clear the interest the group has for the people of the grass root.
No wonder; when many onlookers see the work the Society is doing, decides to come in as members of the conglomerate. Because many people are now trooping in to this great Society for assistance, has now become the reason the executives of the body, find it necessary to involve the government and other financial institutions to join hands with Gofta to meet the required assistance of those in the grass root. as these are the ones who really need this help most.
Although most of the financial institutions and government are showing rickety concern, still, the Gofta world is not given up until they see that all has been given the privilege to live as citizens in their fathers land:
